How to Save A Google Docs File- Ultimate Guide

How to Save a Google Docs File (Pc/Laptop)

Step 1st: Go to the “File” in the menu top of the left corner within Google Docs and drag down to save as. Then drag over to word like this:

Step 2nd:  Now just click on the “Download as an arrow” its show number of options to download or save the file in your comfort format (you may see in the given screenshot). After that where you want the file to be downloaded.

Whenever you’re online, your Google Doc files will save as you work on them (This is a great feature of Google Documents). You don’t need a save file or click on the Save button. If you aren’t connected to the internet, you can set you offline access to save your changes.
